Booking and Payment
Booking Process
To reserve a skip, you must provide accurate information regarding the size, type, and duration of the hire. Bookings can be made online or via telephone.
Payment Terms
- Deposit: A deposit may be required at the time of booking.
- Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods including credit/debit cards and bank transfers.
- Late Payments: Late payments may incur additional charges.
All payments must be completed before the delivery of the skip unless prior arrangements have been made.
Collection and Delivery
Delivery
Our team will deliver the skip to the specified location on the agreed date. Please ensure that access is clear and unobstructed to facilitate a smooth delivery process.
Collection
After the hire period, we will collect the skip. It is your responsibility to ensure that the skip is ready for collection and that all waste is properly deposited.
Use of the Skip
Permitted Waste
- Garden waste
- Household waste
- Construction debris
Under no circumstances should the skip be used to dispose of hazardous materials, including but not limited to asbestos, chemicals, or electrical appliances.
Weight Limits
Each skip has a maximum weight capacity. Exceeding this limit may result in additional charges and potential safety hazards.
Permits and Regulations
It is the customer's responsibility to obtain any necessary permits required for skip placement on public land. Failure to secure proper permits may result in fines or removal of the skip at the customer's expense.
Liability and Insurance
Damage to Property
We are not liable for any damage caused to property during the delivery, use, or collection of the skip, unless such damage is due to our negligence.
Insurance
Customers are advised to have appropriate insurance coverage for the contents of the skip. We do not provide insurance for the waste disposed of.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a fee.
Refunds
Refunds will be processed for cancellations made within the stipulated time frame. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the deadline.
Health and Safety
Customers must adhere to all health and safety guidelines when loading waste into the skip. Improper loading may pose safety risks and could result in additional charges.
